Emotions - Intelligence & Emotional Intelligence

Are you Intelligent or emotional? Are you emotionally Intelligent or do you exhibit Intelligent emotions? Let's try to understand and explore.

I am writing this post neither because I am emotional right now nor to show off my intelligence but to share my thoughts on the indispensable characteristics of living beings - the emotions and the Intelligence.

We all are aware of what emotions are, but at some point of time in life we all wonder as to why do we get emotional - Don't we?

Emotions are natural responses to certain situations, circumstances, people or  things. Every one has different triggers to emotions and different levels at which their emotions get triggered. Some one may have well emotionally balanced mind but I personally refuse to believe that there could be any human, animal or any other living species without emotions. And I really find it too impractical and unreal when I read posts and suggestions saying things like you are the master of your emotions or things like you don't have the power to control what others say but you have the power to decide whether to get emotional or not. So funny! What would the person that wrote all the above do if I write some crap about him under the above preaching of his? Will he keep quiet, not accepting my words? May be yes but to what extent? What if I repeatedly try to trigger his emotions? Well, I am pretty sure that at some point or the other he will definitely lose his calm. That is the fact, the truth and the reality of emotions.

Guys usually make fun of girls because they are emotional or they exhibit their emotions too fast but an intelligent guy would know that Intelligence can't overpower emotions or vice versa. In fact Intelligence becomes almost nil when a person is emotional that is the reason why a human can't make the right decisions when he is emotional. So what am I trying to say? I believe that emotions and Intelligence go hand in hand and complement each other. Emotions and Intelligence affect each other. Intelligence is shadowed by emotions and emotions are shadowed by intelligence based on the ability and levels of triggers of a person. But it is not possible to nullify either the emotions or the intelligence totally. At times we require to disguise our emotions as intelligence or with intelligence and keep them in store until it is the right time to let the emotions burst out.

Emotions and Intelligence are in fact like a game of chess in life. A person who knows the right move at the right time is the winner. We need to be intelligent enough to control our emotions when needed and also be enough emotional to avoiding taking advantage of our Intelligence or in harming others using our intelligence. So it's all about being emotionally intelligent and exhibiting intelligent emotions. A perfect man is not some one without any emotions but the one who knows when, where and how to manage his emotions intelligently. We can always avoid regrets of future and the guilt of having done something wrong by trying to keep the triggers of our emotions as high as possible.

Don't over do or under do. Maintain a perfect balance and healthy levels of emotions. Don't neglect emotions because of Intelligence. Strive for success but also live life. A minute spent will never return. A person once lost can never come back. Some beautiful things live for a short span. Enjoy those while you can. Life is very uncertain. Live every day as if it was your last day. For example, if it was my last day, I would never fight or argue with some one or hurt and neglect some one. I would also not get angry at some one even when they are wrong because it's my last day and I don't want to waste it in anger or some thing useless. I would rather utilize my time in a beautiful manner on things that give me pleasure and happiness. I hope I am clear. So, what do you think about this? And what are the ways to control our emotions when needed?

Types of programming languages | Software

Hi, Lets get going further in to the basics of computers. For those of you who are new to this blog, I recommend you to go through part - 1 of the basics before going ahead with this post. Here is the link to part-1: https://techspireme.blogspot.in/2018/04/basics-of-computers.html We have already read from part 1 that Software is a set of applications. Software is basically of two types: 1. System software: software required to start up the system i.e the Operating System software (by booting - a process named Boot Strap Loader loads the operating system from the Hard disk drive to the working memory RAM) 2. Application software: Software designed for a specific purpose that is a collection of programs. Application software always runs on the top of system software. Examples of Application software are: word processors like notepad, wordpad A suite of applications like MS Office Media players (VLC etc) and many more. System software is the base on which applicat...

Everything about computers

Hi, I am quite excited to start the technical part of my blog! I hope so are you! Let's start with the Abc of computers that we all find a bit hard to put in to words. These are my own definitions made really simple and easy to understand! Computer:   An electronic device that computes, stores, processes , manipulates and displays the data. Coined from the term "compute", means to calculate. Facts:  First ever computer was used for mathematical calculations. Founder: Charles Babbage - The Father of computers - invented the first ever mechanical computer called "Babbage's Analytical Engine"! Features of a Computer / Advantages of computer over a calculator: Speed, Accuracy, Storage, Multi tasking, Diligence (and many more). A computer comprises of Software and Hardware (all the physical - internal or external components/peripherals that are connected to or a part of computer ex. Keyboard, Mouse, Cabinet, Joystick, USB - pen drive etc. that we c...

Generations of Computers

Hey there, It has been really long time since I made a technical post which is my forte. So here I am with my simplified and easy to understand post. Generations of Computers: In technical context generation may be referred to as the varied drastic growth in technology day to day. Computers have changed in various ways (in terms of its size, power and abilities) since their inception. The evolution of the electronic computers over time is categorized in to five generations with differences in terms of size, computing power and the technology used. First Generation:  Early 1940's to late 1950's - Vacuum Tubes Image Source: By Unknown - U.S. Army Photo, Public Domain, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=55124 The first generation computers were built using vacuum tubes (CPU) and magnetic drums (storage) and used machine language programming . Vacuum tubes are glass tubes without gas, with an electrode capable of controlling electron flo...
