Never give Up!

A marine biologist was once conducting an experiment. She was working with a shark in a water tank. In the first instance she dropped a bait in to the tank and as we all can guess the shark swam very fast and gulped down the bait. This happened a few times when the biologist inserted a glass barrier to divide the fish tank in to two parts. When the bait was released in to the tank this time, unaware of the opaque glass barrier, the shark swam towards the bait in high speed, hit the glass barrier and bounced off. It was hurt. But the shark continued to try to attack and break in to the barrier to gulp the bait. It happened a few times. Every time the shark was getting more and more aggressive. And after several attempts the shark gave up. The bait was happily swimming around in the second partition of the tank. The next day too same thing was repeated. The shark tried several times and finally gave up. After some days the glass barrier was removed but the shark was no longer trying. It was tired and fed up of all of its failed attempts.

Many a times in life, most of us also face similar situation. After lot of hard work and struggle, when things don't work in our favor, we tend to give up and totally stop trying. There is nothing unusual in feeling disappointed , depressed or in giving up at times but we need to ignite the fire once again after the little break we take. For instance, when we started to walk and fell on the ground several times, what would happen if we never got up after falling? Would the human race ever know that we can walk and run if we never got up after the first fall?

There are times when dark clouds or the night hides the sun but every cloud passes away and every night has an end. Similarly every bad period also has an end. Find ways to motivate yourself and pull yourselves up in bad times. Be with people who make you strong and support you but not with the ones who De-motivate you or pull you down.

There was once a group of frogs that lived in a well. One of the frog was very curious to jump out of the well and see the world outside but all the other frogs warned it that there was no other world outside the well and even if there is any, it would be dangerous. In fact all these frogs pulled the other frog down when ever it tried to jump out of the well. Nevertheless the frog tried harder and harder each time until it finally came out of the well and had a better life in a big lake and the land nearby. It was successful because it paid no heed to demotivating words of other frogs.

Always beware of your company. The people surrounding you have a great influence on the quality of life you have, your thoughts and future. So always be in a good company. Get out of the well of negative people. Think outside the box. Always try to be better than before. And never give up! Try and try harder until you are no longer alive to try anymore.

Types of programming languages | Software

Hi, Lets get going further in to the basics of computers. For those of you who are new to this blog, I recommend you to go through part - 1 of the basics before going ahead with this post. Here is the link to part-1: https://techspireme.blogspot.in/2018/04/basics-of-computers.html We have already read from part 1 that Software is a set of applications. Software is basically of two types: 1. System software: software required to start up the system i.e the Operating System software (by booting - a process named Boot Strap Loader loads the operating system from the Hard disk drive to the working memory RAM) 2. Application software: Software designed for a specific purpose that is a collection of programs. Application software always runs on the top of system software. Examples of Application software are: word processors like notepad, wordpad A suite of applications like MS Office Media players (VLC etc) and many more. System software is the base on which applicat...

Types of Computers

Based on the size, computing power and capabilities, the computers are divided in to several types. Let us have a look at these ranking from top to low. 1. Super Computer The fastest and extremely fast computer capable of execution hundreds of millions of instructions per second (MIPS) is called a Super computer. They are highly expensive (around 50-100 million dollars to a few billion dollars) and most powerful.  It can execute n* 10 power 10 to n* 10 power 50 operations per second ex. the NASA super computer Pleiades can execute 5.95 to 7.25 petaflops per second.  1petaflop = one thousand million million = 10 power 15 floating-point operations per second - FLOPS) The super computers are used in research purposes and in intense calculations like weather forecast, Earth quake studies, nuclear reactors & simulations, Astro physics, complex scientific operations etc. NASA uses super computers to launch satellites, rockets and for space exploration. Everything about computers

Hi, I am quite excited to start the technical part of my blog! I hope so are you! Let's start with the Abc of computers that we all find a bit hard to put in to words. These are my own definitions made really simple and easy to understand! Computer:   An electronic device that computes, stores, processes , manipulates and displays the data. Coined from the term "compute", means to calculate. Facts:  First ever computer was used for mathematical calculations. Founder: Charles Babbage - The Father of computers - invented the first ever mechanical computer called "Babbage's Analytical Engine"! Features of a Computer / Advantages of computer over a calculator: Speed, Accuracy, Storage, Multi tasking, Diligence (and many more). A computer comprises of Software and Hardware (all the physical - internal or external components/peripherals that are connected to or a part of computer ex. Keyboard, Mouse, Cabinet, Joystick, USB - pen drive etc. that we c...
