Types of programming languages | Software

Hi, Lets get going further in to the basics of computers. For those of you who are new to this blog, I recommend you to go through part - 1 of the basics before going ahead with this post. Here is the link to part-1: https://techspireme.blogspot.in/2018/04/basics-of-computers.html We have already read from part 1 that Software is a set of applications. Software is basically of two types: 1. System software: software required to start up the system i.e the Operating System software (by booting - a process named Boot Strap Loader loads the operating system from the Hard disk drive to the working memory RAM) 2. Application software: Software designed for a specific purpose that is a collection of programs. Application software always runs on the top of system software. Examples of Application software are: word processors like notepad, wordpad A suite of applications like MS Office Media players (VLC etc) and many more. System software is the base on which applicat...

From the darkness in to light!

Hola, amigos! As another weekend is almost about to end, and a fresh week awaits its arrival, on this dark night, a few thoughts keep me occupied! I am reminded of something that I always used to think since very long. I used to think about how someone in light cannot see anything in the dark and how someone in the dark can see everything that is in the light! Perplexed? Ok, lets make it simple. Suppose you lay in your bed with lights turned off at the night and someone in the same room or from outside can obviously not be able to see you. where as you can see anyone who is in the light/someone who is visible! I hope I am clear! So, I used to think of it this way, a really wise person can be compared to the one in the light and this person cannot see anyone in the dark. A really knowledgeable and wise man cannot see flaws/faults in others, while an ignorant one (the one in the dark) can see anyone in the light and judge or comment about them! What exactly am I trying to ...

Some fun facts about sleep

Almost about one thirds of a human life is spent sleeping! Randy Gardner, a 17 year old, (in 1962) holds the record for longest period without sleep that is 11 days (264 hours and 12 minutes)! He suffered from sleep deprivation there after and such extreme deprivation of sleep is not recommended or good to our health! A person can die of sleep deprivation more quickly than that of food deprivation! Sleep deprivation also results in the decrease of tolerance to pain. The only mammal that can deliberately or willingly delay sleep is Man! If you fall asleep at night within 5 minutes, that means you are over tired or sleep deprived. An average human takes 10-15 minutes to fall asleep. A cat spends 2/3rd of its life sleeping! A short and quick nap for just 6 minutes can improve memory! (Nope, I am not recommending a nap at work :p ) In the US, 16% of employers provide a napping area for employees! (I know your reaction at this! :D ) The ideal temperature for a good/qualit...

Everything about computers

Hi, I am quite excited to start the technical part of my blog! I hope so are you! Let's start with the Abc of computers that we all find a bit hard to put in to words. These are my own definitions made really simple and easy to understand! Computer:   An electronic device that computes, stores, processes , manipulates and displays the data. Humans of today!

Hey there, Good Morning dear readers! Firstly I would like to thank my readers for visiting my blog and sparing time to read my posts! :) As the new day dawned upon us and I sit here, some thoughts cross my mind, and I am just trying to pen them down here! A few days back, some one alarmingly showed me a video in which there was a girl who was being beaten up by few men & women and was being burnt alive! I don't vouch for the credibility of the video but still, it was a very disturbing one! And there was a bunch of people around them. Some were watching with fear, some with pity and some were capturing the moments as a video on their gadgets! But no one stepped forward to stop this from happening or even to raise voice against the attack! Well, we don't know the reason behind that attack but still, don't you think how inhumane this was? Why have we become living zombies walking around mechanically without being affected by anything except for one self! Just...

My Astrology and stars?

Hey there, Disclaimer: The contents posted here (excluding quotes obviously) are NOT copied! They are my own words! With all due respect to Astrology - a science or rather art of predictions, which could either be wrong or right! I just wanted to share something that I penned down around a year ago when I was disturbed by a man's predictions of my astrology and his self boasting about his so called super powers! Here it goes! Let me know your views! Who am I? What am I? How am I? and why am I here? Forget about me. Can you tell me who you are? What you are? and What is the purpose of your life?  Why are you struggling to read me through my eyes? I am not a book to be read by you!  Why are you struggling to prove your mettle to me? I didn't ask you to do so. Neither do I need reasons to respect you nor can any of your reasons get me to be scared/amazed of your so called powers! Yes you deserve to know about me before you take me in as your employee, ...
